Well sort of; more like a work in progress that is progressing slowly. I still have a few more parts waiting to wander in, the saddle being the primary piece.
We have been busy cleaning up from the storms here in NC last week. We were fine but some of our neighbors weren't as lucky. We have also been getting major spring chores done around the home place. Things like painting, gardening and general clean up after the winter sloth.
I had hoped to have this done by Memorial Day...Fourth of July...Labor Day? Oh well I have plenty of other bikes to ride, just need to ride.

Hey Aaron, looks like quite a project! My wife's Nishiki Mixte has a saddle just like that one ;-)
Ouch!
Seriously, glad to hear you'all fared OK last week. I was thinking about you and some other friends near Charlotte.

Glad to hear you guys are fine after the storms. We were very lucky also, but like you, have neighbors who weren't - one morning there were at least 8 trees down just on our street, with the worst one splitting a house down the middle! I'm terrified of storms since we have so many large, really old trees, so haven't been getting much sleep lately :)
Glad to hear you are safe after the storms! We were in Georgia during the storm week, but saw nothing from them outside of the news.
The South was a hit with these Yankees... there was even talk about how we could move to Savannah. I suggested we return in August and see if we're still in the mood.
Mike,
I would STRONGLY suggest returning in July or August...98* and 98% relative humidity, it is doable if you move slow and travel from shade tree to shade tree. This is the only part of the country where I can recall ever having seen a heat index number posted...at midnight :O

Been along time, I know... ;c)
With the red, black and gold, this is looking more German than your Staiger. Nice scheme!
I dunno, I see worse in the shop every work day.
The owners frequently think they'll be ready for a five day tour over the Pyrenees after a quick service as well: at least you're doing the job properly.
