This is an early Christmas present to myself :-D I frequently ride narrow two lane country roads with poor lighting and short site distances. I usually wear a highway worker style vest. But this will cut out one layer in the cooler seasons. It is ANSI Class 2 Compliant...which means I can get a job on a road crew if I need too ;-) It is a
Carhartt which is what I typically wear for work anyway.
There will now be no excuse for NOT seeing me as I wander down the highways and byways. Hopefully in the future things like this won't be required or necessary for cyclists, we will insist that all cars be painted a hideous color so we can see them coming.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to each and everyone, and if you happen not to Celebrate Christmas....Happy Holidays.

Happy and Safe Holidays and New Year to you
That's nice. I might just buy one of those. I'm not real concerned about my stuff being cycling specific.
Believe me THAT is not cycling specific. About the only cycling specific thing I have is a bicycle...LOL

I feel like I've betrayed the 3-speed crowd. I actually got a Canari yellow windbreaker, some black leggings and a pair of black bike pants. I promise not to wear them on the DL-1. ;- )
LOL Doohickie, maybe you should wear them on the DL ;-). Years ago I raced, but no longer. I ride for pleasure and utility.

Well said. At least here the responsibility rests on car drivers in the evend of a crash, so they tend to be more careful
Hi workbike, thanks for stopping by...
In the USA the theory behind car accidents is to blame everyone else for it and then the police attempt to find fault; however you can go to court and pay an attorney to get you off the hook.
US drivers are some of the least trained drivers; 40 hours total training and they give you a license and set you free with a 1.5 ton missile. Pet peeve of mine...
